CM Punjab Bike Scheme 2026 Eligibility Criteria

If you are a university student in Punjab and your daily commute is eating up your time, your money, and honestly your energy too, this is something you should actually look into properly. Most students have heard the name but scrolled past without checking if they qualify.

The CM Punjab Bike Scheme is offering a total of 20,000 bikes, 19,000 petrol bikes and 1,000 electric bikes, to students across Punjab. The monthly instalment is approximately PKR 5,000 for a petrol bike and PKR 10,000 for an e-bike. The government is covering both the down payment and the full markup, which means you pay zero interest, just the monthly instalment and nothing on top of that. The scheme is open to registered students of HEC accredited universities and degree colleges, whether government or private, who are Punjab domicile holders, above 18 years of age, and hold a valid motorcycle driving license or at minimum a learner’s permit.
